ALEX A. CAMPBELL JOINS AERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

VICTORIA, BC (April 29, 2008) – E-commerce research and analytics leader Advanced Economic Research Systems Inc. (AERS), announced today the appointment of Alex A. Campbell, Order of British Columbia, founder and former chair of Thrifty Foods to the company's board of directors.

Prior to joining the board, Campbell built Vancouver Island's single largest private sector company into a small empire of 4,100 employees. In 2007, he sold his company to Sobeys Inc. and continues to be involved in an advisory capacity.
